Spacious room with large bathroom, beautiful sea views from patio, well-maintained gardens

The load shedding situation was inconvenient!!! Access to plugs and air conditioning during outages was a hassle. A more effective solution for humidity in the rooms would enhance comfort significantly!!!

Great location with views of the sea and not too far from Camps Bay beach. Very helpful staff and a great breakfast as well.

The room we were in was right next to the breakfast room and was very noisy every morning. No chance of a lie in!! This was the one big let down, would suggest avoiding room 2 if you're booking in here.

Brand-new extremely pleasant rooms, they are provided with coffee, terrace, a beautiful view. Its location is magnificent, close to restaurants and bars;))

Fine views from the Panorama room and really good staff service. Breakfast was delicious, offering fresh and locally sourced options!

The service at the honesty bar was inconsistent, lacking some key ingredients. There was no 24-hour reception available .

Their hospitality and friendlyness, everyone from Front Office, Management,Housekeeping and gardeners. Please indicate that Anne and sithembiso booked for 4 nights at the Luxury Room.

The people were extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was very generous and catered for every taste. The room was really special, a little bit of luxury on our trip.

Can't recommend highly enough for a fleeting moment

Beautiful room, beautiful views, with amazing ocean vistas from the balcony and a cozy, homely atmosphere improved with the friendly staff. The breakfast was always excellent, with a fresh selection that kick-started our days perfectly, and the proximity to the local beaches made exploring effortless, just a short ride away.

The location was excellent. I wanted a "room with a view" and that is exactly what I got. Service was good and the staff was quick to resolve problems. Room was spaceous however it lacked some attention to detail. Breakfast was good but improvement is needed to compete in this price bracket.

Not "Value for Money". I agree that the location comes at a premium but if the house was situated anywhere else, it would not have received an rating as a superb B/B establishment. Building is in need of some maintenance and attendance of management during eg breakfast sessions would have been a great personal touch to guests. The honesty bar should have a bigger selection of products and maybe staffed to attend to guest needs.

The view and the garden

1. The location - it is far from restaurants/shopping. And it is not in the center of Camps Bay - it is actually in Bakoven, further down south from Camps Bay. For solo traveller who do not hire car, the only available transportation to/from this place is taxi and taxi is not cheap in Cape Town. You can walk to Camps Bay, but it is a long 20 minutes walk. 2. The reception. Reception is only available at 07:00 am - 07:00pm. I checked in past 7pm and did not have anyone to ask for place to go for dinner. Remember, there is no restaurant in this property, and the nearest life is 20 mins walk. There is delivery service menu directory that the hotel provided, but again, it is not cheap. They said there is house keeping service that is available 24 hrs, but I never succeeded calling them. I have to call the manager instead. 3. Breakfast starts quite late (at 08:00am)

Hotel as a whole is quiet and magnificent, I appreciated it.

Thank you for an excellent stay. The hotel is neat with welcoming and very welcoming staff members. The king room is modern and has a big balcony and a lounge area. The breakfast with home baked muffins, hot food cooked fresh to order and fantastic views is incredible for what is offered...

The beautiful gardens were a perfect serene setting, with cozy sunbeds and koi ponds, ideal. The staff was accommodating, ensuring that my needs were met with genuine warmth. A good stay overall!

Improved bathroom layout for better accessibility would help.

We had an excellent stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The setting and surroundings were lovely. Loved the gardens.The room was perfect for us; the breakfasts were delicious. We had no complaints whatsoever: we hope to return and also would thoroughly recommend as really convenient location for Camps Bay, at a pleasant walking distance, and Cape Town centre, an easy taxi ride. Thank you.
